Our Mission
To eliminate sudden cardiac arrest deaths in youth sports by ensuring every field, court, and track in the Long Beach area has immediate access to trained medical personnel and life-saving AED equipment.
Our Vision
A future where no young athlete loses their life to a preventable cardiac event. We envision a community where every coach, parent, and player is equipped with the knowledge and tools to respond in an emergency.
Our Story
Founded by Alexis Torres, NREMT, a local student, Hearts On The Field was born from the urgent need to protect our children on the playing field. After witnessing the devastating effects of sudden cardiac arrest in youth sports firsthand, we committed to building a safety net that no community should have to go without.
501(c)(3) Status
Hearts On The Field Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
